Em entrevista coletiva concedida após o treino, Barroca confirmou a escalação com quatro meio-campistas.

– A ideia de quatro meio-campistas é ter mais equilíbrio. Pimpão é muito importante pra gente. Vamos ver o que o jogo traz pra gente de problemas, para resolvermos durante a partida.

Neste momento, o Botafogo ocupa a quinta posição do Brasileirão, com nove pontos conquistados em 12 possíveis, e viaja para Goiânia ainda nesta sexta-feira. Mandante, o Goiás está em 10º lugar.

West Indies opener Chris Gayle has pronounced himself “99 per cent fit” at the start of the three-match Twenty20 series against England in Barbados and admits that West Indies need to up their game drastically in time for their World T20 title defence in Bangladesh.”We’ve had some poor results in the last few games on the limited overs front but both teams are going through some challenging times,” Gayle said. “Personally, I’m feeling really great, having rested my glutes.”I haven’t really been doing much in the way of playing, or even watching, cricket to be honest. But as long as my body’s feeling fine, I can’t wait to get out there. Gayle stressed that following England’s 2-1 ODI series win in Antigua, West Indies needed to address their sub-par batting and added that this series was ideally positioned for them to garner some momentum going into Bangladesh.”It’s been rough recently. I think we need to be more steady in the crease but we do have the batting capable of getting big runs and more importantly, the wins. We also have disciplined players like Sunil Narine and Ravi Rampaul to deliver on the bowling end of things.”Alongside Gayle’s hitting prowess, the return of Marlon Samuels to the fold will help to offset the loss of Kieron Pollard, which Gayle labelled as “a huge blow to the team”. He was nonetheless pleased to see the core of the title-winning unit from 2012 in Sri Lanka back in the mix.”We have Marlon back but we all know how dangerous ‘Polly’ can be and it’s devastating when you lose a player like that. But, even with as many talented individuals as we have, we have to go out there and play as a team to win. We also have one or two new faces to add a fresh dimension to our side.”Gayle did not escape the obligatory question about Kevin Pietersen’s enforced retirement from the England side. He suggested that England were substantially weaker without Pietersen and regarded England’s treatment of him as “disrespectful”.”KP is one of the best. Any team would love to have him in their ranks. I think it was disrespectful how he was treated and the way he went out but you never know what happens behind closed doors. I’m glad I won’t be facing him on the field. He’s a tremendous asset and someday I hope he gets back into the England mix if the door ever re-opens.”He remained adamant that the losses of Pietersen and Root would be detrimental to England’s T20 aspirations but his own resolution of his long-standing personal spats with the WICB encouraged his belief that there was a chance Pietersen could make his return someday.

Também adaptado à cidade, Sampaoli tem multa rescisória de R$ 10 milhões. O presidente do Santos prometeu ‘fazer o impossível’ para o treinador ficar no comando do Peixe.

No comando do Santos desde o início do ano, Sampaoli tem 31 jogos, com 16 vitórias, oito empates e sete derrotas. Seu contrato é válido até o fim de 2020.

كشفت مصلحة الضرائب المصرية، حقيقة تخفيض الضرائب المستحقة على نادي الزمالك، حسب ما صرح به عماد مصطفى البناني رئيس اللجنة الثلاثية للقلعة البيضاء.

وكان عماد مصطفى البناني صرح أمس الإثنين، بأن لجنة إدارة الزمالك توصلت لاتفاق مع مصلحة الضرائب لتخفيض ديون النادي المستحقة، من مليار و200 مليون جنيه إلى 400 مليون جنيه فقط.

ونشر الحساب الرسمي لمصلحة الضرائب المصرية عبر موقع التغريدات القصيرة “إكس”: “أكدت مصلحة الضرائب المصرية أنه لا صحة لخفض الضرائب المستحقة على نادي الزمالك من 1.2 مليار إلى 400 مليون جنيه”.

واختتم: “نادي الزمالك لم يتقدم رسميًا بأي طلبات تسوية أو جدولة للمديونية الضريبية حتى الآن، وبابنا مفتوح للتواصل مع كل المجتمع الضريبي من أجل إنهاء المنازعات الضريبية وديًا”.

يذكر، أن وزارة الشباب والرياضة أعلنت في وقت سابق عن تولي لجنة ثلاثية إدارة نادي الزمالك، برئاسة الدكتور عماد البناني المدير التنفيذي وأحمد فواد الوطن المدير المالي وأيمن شعراوي مدير النشاط الرياضي.

أكدت "مصلحة الضرائب المصرية "أنه لا صحة لخفض الضرائب المستحقة علي نادي الزمالك من ١,٢ مليار إلى٤٠٠ مليون جنيه،وأن نادي الزمالك لم يتقدم رسميًا بأي طلبات تسوية أو جدولة للمديونية الضريبية حتي الان،قائلة بابنا مفتوح للتواصل مع كل المجتمع الضريبي من أجل إنهاء المنازعات الضريبيةوديًا

We have plenty of T20 experience – Sammy

It is no secret that West Indies sometimes love hitting fours and sixes to the point where they can ignore the need to rotate the strike. It is a habit that has hurt them often in limited overs cricket and Suresh Raina said India would be looking to target that on Sunday.”They are a completely different team, they have players who can hits sixes,” Raina said. “They do not know much of rotating the strike against spinners, with ones and twos. It is important we put early pressure.”Darren Sammy’s response to Raina’s opinion was one of casual indifference: “We don’t care much about what Raina thinks. If he thinks we are only six-hitters, then stop us from hitting sixes.”West Indies, the defending champions, the entertainers and a team with some of the leading lights of the T20 format are here. And while Sammy admitted there is pressure going into the tournament with their title on the line, he also said he was pleased that he had at his disposal a balanced, “very good” team.”We have top T20 players who have played around the world. We have [Chris] Gayle, [Sunil] Narine, [Dwayne] Bravo, all of them have a lot of experience playing T20. With the two openers, we have guys who can give us great impetus in the first six overs. “The good thing about our team is that we don’t rely on any one player. We have at least four, five, six potential match-winners in our side. Spin will play an important part in this tournament and the team which can handle spin better will come out victorious but I am quite happy about the team we have here. In the short format, the bulk of the runs will come from the top four or five batsmen and I think we are very strong at the top of the order with Marlon, Simmons, me and Bravo.”If you look at our bowling unit, we have Narine who is, to me, the No 1 bowler in this format, (Samuel) Badree, Bravo, and we have a young guy called Krishmar Santokie who could have a great impact in this tournament. He is the leading T20 bowler in the Caribbean and he has played in the Caribbean T20 league and taken a lot of wickets. Most of his wickets are clean-bowled and lbws. He has a lot of variation, not quick, but you will see. You have to see him to know exactly what I mean when he gets his opportunity. So we are happy with the balance of our side. And yes, we are a very good team especially in this format.”For Sammy, the one major change from 2012 is that his players are more experienced. He admitted, however, that the team will still need the big players to step up and help West Indies make it two in two.”There is always pressure. We are the defending champions,” Sammy said. “This time our players are a lot more experienced, the last time our key players had a brilliant tournament. And the key was even though someone did not perform in a match we stuck together as a team. I think this time it is even more important that we have our key guys perform consistently. As a team, we now have more belief that we could come out there and defend the trophy.”Several West Indies players are important cogs for their IPL franchises, and Raina mentioned that India knew the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents. Sammy, though, did not think that familiarity was necessarily an advantage.”Cricket is a game of shifting confidence. You can know your opponent from the last time you have played but he went back and worked on his game,” Sammy said. “To me it is about going out there and using the conditions right, rather than looking at the other’s game. In this time and age they have footage everywhere. You can see the last match played by any cricketer and come up with a formula you think might work. But we have a general idea of what their side is and what they are capable of.”

Dwayne Bravo, the West Indies and Chennai Super Kings allrounder, is set to be sidelined for at least four weeks due to a shoulder problem. Bravo sustained the injury when attempting a catch on the boundary in Super Kings’ first match of the season, against Kings XI Punjab on Friday.Ahead of the match against Delhi Daredevils, MS Dhoni, the Super Kings captain, said Bravo would be out for “4-5 weeks”. “Sad that he won’t be part of the dressing room, hope he recovers soon,” Dhoni said.Bravo was one of the five players retained by Super Kings this season, after a strong show in 2013 when he took a league-leading 32 wickets. He played every match for Super Kings last season, and was expected to be among the first picks for the side this year as well. He came into this tournament after a World Twenty20 in which he had been in sparkling form with the bat.Super Kings have usually preferred to have several overseas allrounders in their line-up, but in Bravo’s absence they are lacking a foreign player who can turn the game with both bat and ball.
