This does at least have to be considered a positive for the Gers, at a time when lots of good fitness news is needed, with Benfica set to pose a big threat to their European hopes later this week.

Granted, Clement's team did excellently to get a draw in the first leg, but there is still so much work to do against a strong team featuring the likes of Antonio Silva at the back and legendary attacker Angel Di Maria – a World Cup winner with Argentina.
Sterling has been an important figure for Rangers this season, appearing 16 times in the Scottish Premiership and providing genuine versatility, playing on the right wing, in midfield and at right-back, proving to be an effective squad player for Clement.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have brought a woman staffer on board with the appointment of Navnita Gautam as a massage therapist for IPL 2020. It is rare for IPL teams to appoint female staff although the now defunct Deccan Chargers did have Ashleigh Joyce and Patricia Jenkins working as massage therapists in 2008 and 2009.As per a press release from the franchise on Thursday, Navnita will be working with head physiotherapist Evan Speechly and strength & conditioning coach Basu Shanker “to identify, evaluate, provide guidance and implement massage therapy to suit the team and any relevant prevailing conditions”.She will also be responsible for performing specialised techniques pertaining to the preparation, motivation and physical ailments of individual players.Talking about the appointment, the franchise chairman Sanjeev Churiwala said: “I am very pleased to be a part of this moment in history and another step in the right direction. The game has come a long way, in many ways, in terms of the women’s cricket team and how many people are watching it, the interest was long due. Didi fez parte da campanha que levou a Ferroviária às quartas de final da competição. Com uma lesão sofrida no joelho ainda na pré-temporada, o jogador só assumiu a titularidade na reta final do Estadual paulista.
– Foi uma passagem muito importante em minha carreira profissional. Infelizmente, sofri uma lesão poucos dias antes do início do Paulistão. Isso me atrapalhou, individualmente falando, na busca por meu espaço. Porém, fico feliz em terminar o campeonato como titular da equipe e atuando bem.

The 6 foot 4 titan kept a clean sheet in a 2-0 win for Leeds in the second tier but it, unfortunately, turned out to be his only senior appearance for the club.
He made the bench, as an unused substitute, in eight matches throughout the rest of the Championship season. However, Huffer did not play a single match in any competition for the Whites before being released in the summer of 2020.
The young gem suffered from wrist and hip injuries ahead of his contract expiring that year, which meant that he did not have much of a chance to prove that there was a future for him in Yorkshire.

At the time of writing (14/03/2024), Huffer currently plays in the seventh tier of English football with Carshalton Athletic in the Isthmian Premier Division.
After being released by Leeds in 2020, the giant shot-stopper, who was brought through under Bielsa, spent six months in Non-League with Bradford Park Avenue before he secured a short-term deal with Bradford in January 2021.

However, he did not make a single appearance for the League Two outfit in any competition before being released at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
Huffer then spent time with Stalybridge and Burgess Hill in Non-League before his move to Carshalton Athletic on a free transfer ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Now 25, the former England U17 and U18 international still has time to work his way back up the footballing pyramid, whether that is up to the top tiers of Non-League – in the National League North/South or Premier or back to the EFL.
Hopefully, if it is what he wants to achieve, the former Leeds starlet will progress in the years to come and forge a successful career for himself between the sticks before he retires.

The Man United faithful have witnessed plenty of fantastic midfielders play for the club, but not many have been finer than Scholes.
Over 718 appearances for the Red Devils, Scholes cemented himself as a legend of the club, scoring 155 goals, with Sir Bobby Charlton describing Scholes as a “beautiful player to watch".
However, United haven't been able to replace the England international since he left in 2013, but funnily enough, Neves has plenty of similarities to the former United number 18, according to analyst Ben Mattinson, in regards to his “tenacity and technical ability.”
This season for Benfica, the 19-year-old has been a key player, playing 27 matches in the Primera Liga and scoring three goals, with one of those coming in last weekend’s 1-0 win over Chaves.

As you can see by the table above, it’s no surprise that Mattinson has also tipped the star to “become one of the best” midfielders in years to come, with his complete skillset making him stand out.
Neves’ ability to control the game and be technically secure regardless of pressure makes him very similar to Scholes, taking 106 touches, having a 91% pass accuracy, and making two key passes.
However, despite being just 5 foot 8, the Portugal international is also extremely impressive off the ball, winning 13 duels and completing six tackles.
It’s quite clear that Neves’ ceiling is extremely high, due to the fact that he can do everything, and has the energy to cover every inch of grass on the field.
In truth, if United were to sign the Portuguese maestro, Kobbie Mainoo and Neves could lockdown the midfield and dominate the Premier League for years to come, which must certainly excite Ratcliffe and the Red Devils faithful.
